The ingredients needed to make Shahi paneer:
  1. Prepare 200 gms Paneer
  2. Get 1 Onion
  3. Prepare 2 Tomatoes
  4. Make ready 5 Garlic
  5. Make ready 1 Ginger piece medium sized
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
  7. Take as per taste Salt
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp Kashmiri mirch
  10. Prepare as required Haldi
  11. Get 1 tbsp Dhaniya powder
  12. Get 1/2 cup Curd
  13. Get 1 Cinnamon
  14. Take 2 Cardamom green
  15. Get 1 Cardamom black
  16. Make ready 2 Cloves
  17. Get 1 Bay leaf
  18. Make ready 125 ml Thick cream
  19. Get 1 tbsp Kasoori methi
  20. Get 4 tbsp Butter
Instructions to make Shahi paneer:
  1. Firstly boil tomatoes for 2 mins then remove the skin and keep them ready to go along with rest of the ingredients.
  2. Now in a pot take butter add the sliced onion garlic, ginger freshly grated, cashew and saute then add tomatoes, red chilli powder, kashmiri mirch for the color, salt and dhaniya powder, haldi and mix nicely.
  3. Let it cool then turn this into paste by adding water as required.
  4. Then drain this paste through a sieve so that you get a smooth Silky paste. The coarse part left behind can again be churn by adding water then again sieve it.
  5. Now into a pot add butter add cinnamon, cardomon both black n green, cloves and Bay leaf then add this paste cook it for more than 20 mins by adding curd into it then add fresh cream and the paneer cubes. Cook
  6. Finally add kasoori methi and cook for another 2 mins. This will enhance the flavors. It's ready enjoy the buttery delicious shahi paneer with Naan and n or rice
