- Get 200 gm Chickpeas
- Prepare 2 Bay Leaf

- Take 1/2 tbsp Fenugreek leaves
- Get 1/2 tbsp Plain Yoghurt
Instructions to make Chana Masala š„°š²š”:
- Soaking chick peas in hot water for 4- 5 hours.
- Boil the chick peas in enough water in a pressure cooker with cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaves and 1/2 tbsp salt.
- Chop onion, Tomatoes and Green chilli
- Heat the Sauce pan (Kadhai) on high flames and then add olive oil
- Once oil is heated, add 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds and then add chopped onions
- Let onion fry for 2-3 min till onion colour changes to golden. Then, add chopped green chilli, 1/2 tbsp ginger paste and 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
- Stir the mixture for a while, then add chopped tomatoes and cover your kadhai with a lid and heat the mixture at low flame
- After 5 - 7 mins add salt, mango powder, fenugreek leaves, and chaat masala powder
- Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala
- Saute the masala for a minute on a low flame with taking care of not to burn it
- Add the cooked chana and mix chana with masala so that chana gets coated with the masala. Add more salt if needed.
- Add 1/2 tbsp curd for taste
- Saute chana on medium or high flame, occassionally stirring in between
- Chana masala is ready. Eat either with chapati or rice or both.
