- Get 2 tsp Oil
- Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Take 10 Cashews
- Prepare 1 Onion
- Take 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- Make ready Salt needed
- Take 1 Big Tomato
- Get 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
- Prepare 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Prepare Water needed
- Prepare Mushroom Tikka in pan:
- Get 1/2 tbsp Butter
- Get 1 tsp Oil
- Get Marinated Mushrooms
- Make ready Salt
- Get 2 Bayleaves
- Get as needed Kasoori methi
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Sugar
Instructions to make Mushroom Tikka masala:

- Add all the ingredients under Marinade & add cleaned mushrooms. Mix & let it sit for about 15 to 30 mins.
- In a pan, add Oil, Cashews & Cumin seeds. Then add Onion, Ginger Garlic Paste, salt to cook the Onions faster. Cook until raw smell goes.
- Then add Tomatoes & cook till mushy. Add Turmeric, Chilli, Cumin, Coriander & Garam masala powders. Let it cook for 2 mins. Remove from heat, cool & Grind to fine paste.
- In another pan, add Butter & Oil to fry the mushrooms. Once hot add the mushroom & fry till it is completely cooked. Set aside.
- In the same pan, add oil if needed. Add Bay leaves & fry for a minute. Then add the ground Onion Tomato paste. Cook for 2 mins. Add Water if needed.
- Then add the prepared Mushroom tikka into the sauce. Cook for 5 mins.
- Add Sugar. Check & adjust Salt. Then Garnish with Coriander or Dried Fenugreek leaves/Kasoori methi.
